Axalto Demonstrates Innovative Offers Designed for Corporate Customers

Amsterdam, February 10, 2005 - Axalto (Euronext: NL0000400653 – AXL) will demonstrate at the 3 GSM World Congress in Cannes (France), its new Corporate Portfolio offer designed for operators to address their corporate customers. The Corporate Portfolio consists of two parts: SIM Enterprise, a corporate pack that includes the fifteen best selling and most advanced SIM-based applications for corporate users; and a service offer called Corporate Continuity Service.

It includes solutions that facilitate the customer’s daily job, the SIM Enterprise applications, ready to use in the day to day working life, and the Corporate Continuity Service that eliminates the stress and inefficiencies due for example to a lost or stolen phone.”

SIM Enterprise includes a CD with 15 SIM-based applications, and a set of SIM cards and smart card readers. The SIM-based applications provides for the most frequent needs of any company in any industry and come in four categories: personal information management, advanced communication, business connectivity and fleet management. They merge Axalto long and recognized experience at growing revenue with corporate services for mobile operators worldwide. Some of these applications have been developed by Axalto, others by Axalto’s worldwide partners.

For the subscriber, SIM Enterprise is quick and easy to deploy. After purchasing the pack, all what needs to be done by the corporate administrator is to select and load on the SIM card of each employee the applications that best fit his/her needs. In the end, every company has a pack tailored to its particular needs.

Axalto’s Corporate Continuity service provides peace of mind and ensures efficiency to corporate customers after loss or theft of their handset with a completely new concept for the SIM card: the Recovery Card. The Recovery Card is a second SIM card that is kept in the wallet and acts as a back up SIM, able to recover over the air subscription and personal data. By using his Recovery Card after the loss or theft of his handset, the customer does not have to remember any telephone numbers for customer service hotlines, nor does he have to worry about possible fraud or data that could have been lost, even if traveling abroad: all the customer has to do is insert the recovery SIM into any handset and follow the instructions presented on the screen.

Associated with the Recovery Card, the Corporate Continuity service then allows the customer to: automatically forbid unauthorized calls, recover his subscription quickly, receive his previous phone identity number (IMEI) by secure Short Message Service (SMS), and recover his personal information and previous mobile configuration.
With these features, corporate customers are assured that after a loss or theft of their handset they can promptly make calls again, be reached at any time, and never lose their precious personal information. Axalto offers maximum efficiency and flexibility to the operators as well, as the Corporate Continuity Service is also offered as a managed service.
